Oak Mountain Middle School Band
- Membership is open to all OMMS students with no prior instrumental experience.
- All members perform in the Holiday and Spring Concert.
- Must have had at least one year of prior band experience.
- Performs at home football games and these concerts: Fall, Holiday, and Spring.
- Participates in the State Band Assessment (MPA).
- All members are eligible to participate in the optional Spring Trip.
- Interested students are encouraged to audition for the All-State Band and various honor bands.

- A special effort is made to prepare the students for proficiency at the high school level.
- Performs at home football games, assemblies, intermediate school, and these concerts: Fall, Holiday, and Spring.

- Interested students are strongly urged to audition for the All-State Band and various honor bands.
